When we manage to shift our attention away from the things that deplete us, those persistent thoughts that cause us stress and worry, we find that we become happier, we sleep better, we smile more, the world becomes somehow friendlier.

Mindfulness training helps us to make that shift, towards the good things in life, towards those things that nurture us and support us, rather than a focus on those things that deplete us.

Counting our blessings is a way to acknowledge the good things in our life. We can use our mindfulness skills to notice when the mind has gone down a rabbit hole and we can become present and aware, and make a conscious shift towards gratitude – and this is where the calendar can come in as a support for you.

Our calendar this month has a prompt each day, a gentle reminder to help us stay focused on the positive aspects of our life, and count our blessings.
