Master’s Degree in Mindfulness online open evening

Join us! Have you been thinking about the part time Master’s degree MSc Studies in Mindfulness?

We are holding an open evening on 11 July at 7pm for anyone who is interested in learning more about the ‘Studies in Mindfulness’ Masters degree at the University of Aberdeen.

People often say that this course is the best thing they have ever done and that it has transformed their life – for the better.

Why might you want to engage in this course?

  • To study and practice mindfulness, compassion and insight meditation in depth over three years with a group of like minded peers, some of whom will become friends for life.
  • To explore how meditation practice is relevant to your area of work.
  • To be kinder and more forgiving of yourself and those around you.
  • To live with awareness and cultivate more freedom in the moments of your life.

This Master’s degree has been running successfully for twelve years and our team of tutors are considered experts in the field, while at the same time being acknowledged by our students as universally kind, approachable and supportive.
This course is a collaboration between the Mindfulness Association and The University of Aberdeen.

If you have a degree, or equivalent professional experience, and a professional or life context within which you would like to explore mindfulness, compassion and/or insight meditation then you are eligible to join this Masters course.

The course is now delivered in hybrid format, in person at Samye Ling and Holy Isle and online and is available to international students. The course also includes some teacher training providing a foundation for those who want to teach.
